Investment fund clerk
Your education in the financial world
If you know that the DAX is not just a dog, and that more happens on the floor than just dancing, then training as an investment fund clerk is perfect for you. You will assist other team members to set up and manage funds, and will research financial market developments. You will keep up-to-date every day on events at stock markets around the world, so that you can participate actively in the duties of your team.
Your training
You will gather practical experience in our corporate headquarters in the heart of Frankfurt. Two and a half years of training will familiarise you will all of the specialised areas in our bank. Theory classes are provided at the Bethmann School (Bethmannschule). Shortly before the completion of training, high performers in each graduating year will have the opportunity to begin dual education studies at selected universities.
Your duties
- Analyse different financial markets
- Fund administration
- Decision-making preparations and execution of transactions for our investment funds
- Securities account management
- Research using information systems (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters
- Advertising campaign planning
Your personal profile
- Good entrance qualification results for university (Abitur), university of applied sciences (Fachabitur) or college of further education (Fachoberschule/mittlere Reife)
- Interested in current financial and stock exchange events
- Enjoy working with numbers
- English language skills
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn
- Willing to take on new duties
- Initiative and commitment
- Team spirit and the ability to communicate
- Enthusiastic when dealing with people
