International Energy & Utility Finance
We provide finance solutions for power plants and utilities. Thanks to DekaBank´s sustainability strategy renewable energies play an important role. In addition, we offer finance solutions for energy and telecommunication grids as well as for other projects which provide services for the public.
International Transport and Public Infrastructure
Our main focus is providing financing solutions for roads, ports and airports which are either state-owned or held privately. In addition we finance public infrastructure investments in health care, education and other areas.
Infrastructure & Municipality Advisory
Municipalities have the opportunity to benefit from the extensive knowledge of our consultants with regards to capital spending, budgeting and organisational issues. Transport Finance
Aviation
As one of the first German aviation financiers we are specialised in financing aircrafts for international airlines and cargo carriers. On a selective basis we also finance aircrafts for regional aviation.
Shipping
In this segment we concentrate our activities on financing container vessels, bulkers and tankers. Our focus lies on marketable tonnage in conjunction with perennial chartering.
Export Finance
We support our customers by granting export loans which are fully or to a major extent secured by official export credit agencies (=ECAs). We have established a longstanding working relationship with a large number of ECAs, mainly from OECD countries. Financed goods comprise the following sectors: plant engineering and construction, extraction and supply of commodities as well as consumer products. Export-oriented companies mainly from Germany and the rest of Europe benefit from our finance solutions.
Savings Banks, Associations and Municipalities
In this segment we mainly provide medium- and long-term financing for savings banks. In addition, we finance public associations and municipalities.
